If you have already finished Until Dawn’s campaign, you will surely be curious to know how your end could have been different if you had chosen to make different decisions or performed better in Quick Time Events .
Well, to ease your demand to try to save all the characters, or to do just the opposite, we decided to publish a guide with the decisions that made the most impact on the narrative and their repercussions.
As you will easily see, the guide is divided into chapters, although only those with decisions that influence the survival of the protagonists are mentioned. To avoid redundancies, only the method for saving characters will be mentioned, and to let them die they must do exactly the opposite of what is written in this guide.
Each chapter is also accompanied by a video with its full gameplay.
Jessica – In order to prevent Jessica from dying after being dragged out of the cabin, the player must always choose the fastest route and avoid the QTE’s as much as possible.
Matt – To prevent Matt from dying at the beginning of the chapter, the player must choose not to attack the deer. Later, the player must choose not to try to save Emily and jump to safety.
Chris – To prevent Chris from dying later, the player must choose not to fire towards Ashley.
Emily – To prevent Emily from dying at the beginning of the chapter, the player should try to miss as few QTE’s as possible. If Emily is bitten at the end of the chase sequence, the player must choose not to shoot her with Mike.
Chris – To prevent Chris from dying, the player must always fire towards Wendigo in pursuit sequence.
Ashley – To prevent Ashley from dying, the player must choose not to investigate the noise or not to open the trapdoor.
Chris – To prevent Chris from dying, the player must choose to keep him with the group.
Josh – To prevent Josh from dying, they just have to make sure they got one of several collectibles related to Hannah’s tattoo and the diary that can be found by Sam in the Mines.
Jessica and Matt – To prevent these characters from dying, the player must choose to hide in the first phase and then choose to keep the characters together.
Remaining Characters – To prevent the remaining characters from dying, the player must remain motionless and then choose to save Mike. After this decision, the player must always choose to hide, remaining motionless after each of these decisions until all characters have been able to leave the inn.
